I first started hitting the drums at 8 years old when we lived in Misima Island, Papua New Guinea.
I tagged along my Dad's band practice during his spare time from work at the mining company. Whenever I got a chance, I would sit at the drum set and start hitting it. I then took drum lessons at Yamaha School of Music during our summer breaks in the Philippines.

My Dad and his friends, Mark and Manny eventually allowed me to play with them during their fun gigs in town and at the camp where we lived.

During high school and college days, I helped form the band "Crackerjacks". I was the drummer of the band and I had a great time being part of the band. When I graduated from college, I was asked by my Dad to join him as a percussionist. We joined forces and formed the duo "MASID". We've been playing for awhile now in various types of venue like bars, weddings, corporate openings etc. and have become a master of our craft.
